CIPS更名通告

根据CIPS年度全会上的投票结果，经英国女王枢密院批准，自2015年1月1日起CIPS的英文全称由The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply 改为The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply。CIPS的中文译名“英国皇家采购与供应学会”及英文缩写不变。

Following the majority ‘yes vote’ at the CIPS Annual General Meeting, we have recently received acceptance from Her Majesty’s Privy Council to make agreed changes to the CIPS Charter and bye-laws.

This means that we can now change the Institute's name to The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and from January 2015 CIPS can offer Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional Status for suitably qualified and experienced members.          

CIPS will be reflecting the name change across all marketing materials from the 15 October 2014 where a formal announcement will be made at the CIPS Australasia conference. Where necessary, could you please update any materials referencing CIPS as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and replace with: The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
